For The Time Being (http://www.cs.rice...Hi Rev Sam. For The Time Being (http://www.cs.rice.edu/~ssiyer/minstrels/poems/1413.html)is a poem by WH Auden about Christmas, more specifically that time after Christmas when we suddenly realize it is over. It's one of my favorite poems, and I've sort of made it my own tradition for the past few years to read it for myself and think on it. The link I've pasted in, isn't the entire poem. It's a long poem and this section is the end of the work. I'd recommend trying to find the whole thing--"For the Time Being: A Christmas Oratorio."Mr. Sherwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18051249327558416739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34634488.post-85709894928548929992006-12-05T04:01:00.000-05:002006-12-05T04:01:00.000-05:00What is "For the Time Being"?What is "For the Time Being"?Sam Charles Nortonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04088870675715850624noreply@blogger.com
